Blend Origin Story

Santa Cosecha was created as an expression-forward filter blend built entirely around coffees produced by women. Where Delta Spirit leans into depth, development, and versatility, Santa Cosecha is designed around clarity. We source washed coffees with vibrant acidity, layered fruit, and dynamic sweetness, then roast them lightly to preserve those qualities and create a cup that feels bright, silky, and exceptionally balanced.

The sourcing behind Santa Cosecha follows the same philosophy that defines the broader Doyenne program. Every component comes from female producers or women-led projects, with an emphasis on highlighting coffees, producers, and communities that have too often been overlooked or had their value extracted without adequate recognition. The goal is to create greater equity and stability through our purchasing while putting genuinely exceptional coffees at the center of the conversation. Throughout the year, we primarily source components from Colombia, Honduras, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and occasionally Peru. The origins themselves are less important than the attributes we are seeking. Our sourcing team tastes extensively at origin and through the sample process, selecting coffees specifically for the Santa Cosecha profile rather than simply assembling what is available. As seasons change, the individual coffees may change with them, but the sensory target remains consistent.

That same level of intention continues into production. Santa Cosecha is roasted to preserve the inherent character of each component, with a particular focus on acidity, sweetness, and clarity of cup. We track development closely throughout the roast and use color measurements alongside sensory evaluation to maintain consistency. Every production batch is cupped by our team, allowing us to evaluate not only quality, but continuity from batch to batch and season to season.

The result should be enjoyable from the moment you smell the dry coffee through the final aftertaste. Santa Cosecha is clean, articulate, and fruit-forward, with citrus-driven acidity, layered sweetness, and a silky structure that rewards careful filter brewing without becoming austere. It is our lightest expression within Doyenne: a blend built to showcase both the quality of the coffees themselves and the women responsible for producing them.

Financial Transparency

We as a company believe that transparency is unbelievably important. The point of listing things below is not to justify what we charge or what we profit, but to give a realistic snapshot of the industry and how specialty coffee can be different than other commodity industries.

Green Cost $5.02
What we paid
The subject of paying for green coffee is inherently complicated. While the amount paid is very important, the payment terms and type of contract negotiated matter just as much. We...

Roast Profile

We roast to tight tolerances, with no more than 1° deviation from target temperatures. During the roast, we keep an especially close eye on rate of rise (RoR)- or the rate at which the bean temperature is increasing.

Third-Party Testing

We believe that quality is more than just flavor— it's trust, integrity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. That's why we take extra steps to ensure that every cup of coffee you brew meets the highest standards of purity and safety.

Mold-Free Mycotoxins

We recently subjected our coffees to rigorous third-party testing for mold and the mycotoxins they can produce—harmful compounds that may develop when certain molds grow on coffee beans. The results couldn't be clearer: our coffee is 100% mold-free.
